More than 76 000 beneficiaries will participate in the new generation training programmes of the Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs and the PSDC on digital and green skills.
These programmes offer a wide range of options for modern high-demand training subjects, including digital skills, and are directly linked to labour market needs. They are being implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with the funding of the European Union — NextGenerationEU.
The interested parties submitted their request to participate from 27 July to 4 September and on 6 September 2022, the register of beneficiaries/unemployed persons (phase A) was announced and available at: https://voucher.gov.gr/upload/project_40/registry_2022_09_05.pdf.
Applicants can be informed of the progress of their application by the FCHAS number (Application Submission Code) received at the time of submission.
Next steps:
From 8 September, beneficiaries will be able to choose the Vocational Training Programme that they wish to follow through a list of programmes offered (Stage II). The training options offered are tailored to the educational level (compulsory, secondary, higher education, etc.) and to the other academic qualifications they have declared.
The training providers who will carry out the implementation of the programmes are included in the Registers of Training Providers (KEDI) of AEIs and licensed KDBMs of the DYPA. They were selected under strict terms and conditions.
The theoretical training programme to develop digital and green knowledge and skills, lasting up to 200 hours, will be carried out with at least 35 % face-to-face training and distance learning (tele-training — modern and asynchronous).
The beneficiaries will have to complete the programme no later than 3 months and take the knowledge certification examinations. Each successful candidate is entitled to receive the full education allowance up to a value of EUR 1 000.
